Hello there😀 I hope you’re doing well by God’s grace. Today we continue with our discussion so; I hope you’re learning from it as I am. (At the end of it all, we’ll have a seasoned Minister and Christian Counselor share with us their thoughts also).
Statement on board:
“The fact that it is two Christians👫 in a relationship does not make it a Christian/Godly relationship…” 😱We asked that you share your thoughts on the above 💬 And what you think makes a Christian/Godly relationship..💭
Here are some more of the thoughts and discussions shared…

“As much as we both are Christians, it’s Godly. I’m very much concerned about the relationship aspect. I have always thought once me and my beloved are active in church, then I can regard the relationship as Godly.” ~ Banahene (Musician, Kumasi Ghana)
“Yes. Very true. It takes self control, abstinence and daily intake of the word to make and keep a Godly relationship. #my view” ~ Princess (HolyHill, Accra, Ghana)

“Thanks Eric, from my point of view a Godly relationship is the one that is built on a Godly foundation, that is a relationship built and existing on our basic Christian principles with regards to relationships.
The questions I’d ask here are :
1. Who are you in a relationship with?
2. Why the need for that relationship?
Cos for me its just not about the two parties in the relationship that really matters, it’s about the purpose for which that relationship is made for.
One of the prophets in the Bible got married to a prostitute, lol, and it was so for a purpose. And I’ve heard some men of God who weren’t devout Christians initially say it took the faith of their wives to turn them to God.
So maybe God put that “unbelieving guy or lady” in a relationship with a believer for his purpose to be made manifest, so I think at the end of the day it’s the purpose that qualifies the relationship to be Godly or not.” ~ Iyke (Musician, Accra, Ghana)

“It’s a Godly relationship if the relationship is in line with God’s Plan and Purpose (has God given them the go- ahead to date?), and if they are obeying God’s guidelines and instructions concerning dating. So two Christians may not necessarily be in a godly/christian relationship.” ~ Olabisi (Medical Doctor, Kumasi)
