Tell Your Story

Alone With God Devotional

Your story isn’t over. And it was never just for you.

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”

Revelation 12:11

Every life touched by Jesus carries a story worth telling — not for polished perfection, but because somewhere out there, someone is walking the same road you once walked. Your testimony is one of the most powerful weapons you carry.

Real people.
Real grace.

Read what God has done. Let their words remind you of what He can do in yours.

A simple path
to telling it well.

We suggest a three-part structure — not to make it perfect, but to help you find the shape of what God has done.

I

Life Before Jesus

What was your life like before the turning point? What were you struggling with, hiding from, or searching for?

II

How Jesus Met You

What happened? What was the moment or season when everything began to shift — and how did you respond to Him?

III

Life After Jesus

What has changed? What are you still trusting Him for? What would you say to someone standing where you once stood?

Ideal length: 600–1,200 words. Shorter micro-stories of 200–400 words are also warmly welcome. No polished perfection required.

“Your testimony doesn’t have to be dramatic to be powerful. It just has to be true.”

— AWG Devotional

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.”

Psalm 107:1–2
