We’re in a world and particular in a generation where we can’t do without God’s grace and peace. Beloved, life can be tough and unfair. Loved ones are being lost, chaos in the world’s economic systems, relationship issues are getting more complicated and depressing. We need abundance of Grace and peace now more than ever.

“May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and excellence.” ~ 2 Peter 1:2-4 #Bible 

I pray that grace and peace will be multiplied to you in Jesus’ name. Other versions say Grace and peace be yours in abundance. Beloved we need this now, more than ever and we should ask for it daily. See, God’s peace is not the absence of troubles and sorrow and challenges, no. It’s the peace that surpasses all understanding even in the midst of the storms of life. And Peter says, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord…” 

This means that what you know about God will determine how much of His grace and peace that will be multiplied to you. And so today I want us to know this about God: #1. He is a gracious and loving FATHER and His mercies endure forever. “The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness…” (Exodus 34:6b). Know that God is love and He loves you and wants to give you grace (John 3:16).

#2. Our heavenly Father is not man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it? (Numbers 23:19). God is full of grace and truth. Know this, that His promises concerning your life will come to pass. He cannot lie.

#3. God is always near them that call on Him. David said, “‘I saw the Lord ALWAYS before me, for He is at my right hand that I may not be shaken; therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; my flesh also will dwell in hope.” “..and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world ~ Jesus (Matt.28:20).” I want you to declare this to yourself, “God will never abandon me! He is always at my side.” 

#4. Jesus came to lighten your burden and give you REST (Matthew 11:28-30).

#5. God is more than willing to do you good. “And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jer. 29:11) May all the things you’re going through work out for your good in Jesus’ name!
