FATHER’S LOVE: Come Home

3 min read

A Father had two sons and one day the younger one asked for his share of his Father’s inheritance. He gathered it all and went off to a foreign land and engaged in wild living. He squandered all he had and then he was empty.

Most of us are engaged in ‘wild living,’ wild parties, extravagant lifestyles, keeping up with the Joneses, and we have no care in the world.

But like this young son, we get empty and broken. You get to the point where the fun ends, your friends leave, or a disease breaks you down, life becomes hard and you struggle a lot. You’re depressed, empty, out of joy, lonely, struggling, suicidal; mmmh.

One thing I like about this young son in the story is that he remembered he had a Father and he remembered he had a relationship with His Father. He knew that no matter how far he’d gone, he’d be better off with his Father (“..even the servants had joy back home,” he thought).

And so he humbled himself to go back home. Little did he know that his Father would be waiting with eager arms to welcome him home.

Thankfully, that’s the same for you and I. God’s love for us is in surfeit amounts and He wants to give you new life, a fresh start.

Today the Father calls you home, “Come and enjoy my rest, come and enjoy life in me,” He says. He is waiting with loving arms. He wants to have a relationship with you.

Lets pray this together:
“Heavenly Father, I call to you today just as I am. I accept this enormous love you have for me. Lord Jesus, forgive me my sins, come and be the Lord of my life and give me newness of life. Let your Spirit guide me to have a relationship with you. Amen.”

Congratulations and welcome home family 😃 Heaven is celebrating because of you. Be sure to contact us and let’s walk with God together dear friend. Stay blessed.

Kindly share with friends and family.
