Here are some wisdom lessons and thoughts from Day 1.

Keziah shares:

“My wisdom thoughts are from verses 5 and 6. To be wise, one thing you must always do is to listen to counsel and never stop learning.” ~ Keziah Ampofo

CeCe shares:

The part that speaks to me is this:

“20 Wisdom cries aloud in the street,
in the markets she raises her voice;
21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out;
at the entrance of the city gates she speaks:”

For me it means wisdom is not a hidden “sometin.” God is not withholding it from us, rather He has made it accessible to us.

So it’s left to us to either reach for it or despise it. However, whatever our choice is, we will have to deal with the repercussions. So choose wisely. Choose wisdom. Thanks”

Yesu Maame shares: My wisdom thoughts are from verses 7 & 33.

“1 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom…”

33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.”

Knowledge can be bought but a true wise man is the one who fears the Lord.
From v. 33: When we have wisdom, we will dwell safely and we won’t fear evil because the wisdom is there to guide us.”

Abi shares:

“God is still advising us to listen to Him (wisdom) and if we don’t do so, wisdom too will reject us some day 😓

Even if we call to Him, He won’t answer us because we ignored Him.
But I choose to fear Him and take all His wisdom to be in safety 🙏Amen!”

Benji shares,

Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
Proverbs 1:23 KJV

This verse says, turn you at my reproof.Reproof simply means to rebuke / a statement to make someone reconsider their ways.” God is saying if you pay attention to my rebuke or if you reconsider your ways, there is a reward for that. The reward is a heavy outpour of His spirit upon us.

He says, “He will make His words known to us.” One of the main struggles of man is to understand God. 1 Cor 2 makes us understand that the natural man cannot understand God for His ways are spiritual discerned. At times we read the Bible and it’s like mere words but I believe if God makes His words known to us it will be like how Daniel interpreted a writing on a wall noone could understand because God made His word known only to Him.

This makes me understand that our ability to humble ourselves in reproof from God can lead to God uplifting us to know some deep secrets of His. It is no wonder David always said sorry and accepted reproofs and was known as a man after God’s own heart.”
