Heyy family, today is the 10th day , and we’re continuing our reading with Proverbs 10. Do share your thoughts of wisdom.
Here are some thoughts of wisdom from Proverbs 9:

Feneba shares on v. 9-10:

This means it is the wise that receives instruction; hence anybody who hates correction is not wise. Wisdom helps you to receive more instruction and corrections that will even make you wiser.
We are in a world where there is always something new to learn; we should always yearn to learn and not refuse receiving words of wisdom from people.

If someone corrects you, don’t reject it, just listen well and later on go and think about what the person said. There may be some words of wisdom which would be of importance to you hidden in that conversation.
People, we need to try hard to accept correction and rebuke EVEN THOUGH it may not seem so pleasant; but let us think about the benefit we may derive from it.👍🏼 ~ Priscilla Afful, God’s love

Proverbs 9:10-12
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through me your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer. #Bible
There two types of pain: the pain of discipline and the pain of regrets. And they both have their rewards. The fear of the Lord, which is where wisdom begins, rewards us with long life and many other rewards, but folly and mockery come with suffering.

Bible says that fearing God is the beginning of wisdom. So that is the foundation for building a wise life, Or that is the ignition to start your wisdom journey OR the seed for your wisdom tree.
Without it, you CANNOT have this wisdom we speak of, nor bear it’s fruits. You may have other types of wisdom, but not this one.
And just as Feneba shared above, Proverbs 9:9 says, when you teach a righteous man, he will add to his learning.

From the above couple of verses, Christians ought to be the wisest here on this earth. And if we are not yet, perhaps we do not truly fear God and/or we are not accepting teachings and ‘adding to our knowledge/learning.’
This is an error brethren; this should not be.
Prayer: May the Grace that teaches us all things, teach us to be wiser and may we reap the rewards that come with wisdom!
