Heyy dearly beloved ππ½π Hope you’re doing well by God’s grace and keeping safe in these times.
Today’s post is a short one, but so powerful and I know you will be blessed by it. I got the title from my friends at HolyHill AG in Adabraka sometime last year (apparently it’s from a short funny video on the internet). Today we’ve got three questions to ponder on:

- Do you have a grudge against someone that just gnaws away at you all the time?
- Every time you see that person or their picture, do you react in a negative way?
- When you hear that that person is being blessed, do you question God and ask how He could bless that person when he/she did such an ugly thing to you or someone else?
If you answered yes/maybe/sometimes, may I suggest to you that you are offended and bitterness is taking root in your heart. “Tsale, edey pain you” (Translated: friend, you are offended). This is a pill you have to swallow:

Harboring bitterness and offence is like taking a poison pill and expecting the other person to die. You’ve got to let it go, just as God lets your sins go.
How many of you know and agree that you’re a very bad person but still God forgives you many offences? Oh yes, be truthful, at least I know personally that it is just grace and mercy that keeps me.
Long ago, during my high school years, a friend said to me “I have locked you in the prison of my heart because of something that you’ve done, I cannot forgive you.” (I didn’t even know what it was, but those were the exact words).

Most of you have locked up people in your hearts. You have a whole prison, big and fortified like Azkaban in your heart, and you’re just locking people up in it.
Dear prison officer, you have to let it go. Some of you have been offended and have locked up your exes, your siblings, your parents, your pastors, your friends, etc.
You’ve got to let it go dearly beloved; and do it just as God lets your many sins go.Β
Offences will block your blessings and God’s mercies upon your life. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” The Bible says,
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” ~ Ephesians 6:31-32

Let it go today, set them free and be free yourself. You will realize that your heart will be more receptive to God that way and you will live a victorious life. You’re blessed!
“Heavenly Father, I pray for all who have been offended in one way or the other and have been holding on to it. I pray that you grant them strength to release all the prisoners they have caged in their hearts. As they show mercy, may you have mercy on them and grant them great grace. Father, pour out your Spirit on their hearts and spread your love around them. I declare them free from offences and filled with the Holy Spirit. Amen!”
We love you, stay blessed and kindly share with friends and family.
