Today I want to tell you about love ღ and then share a story with you (I hope you love stories).

Do tell me, what is love?

Is it an illusion? Is it a virtue?

Is it an incredible feat? Is it a sacrifice?

Is love a value? Is it a gift?

Is love a behavior? Does it even exist?

Is love truth? Is it trust?

Is love selflessness? Is it faithfulness?

Is love some sort of talent? Is it an ability?

Is love obedience? Is it kindness?

Is love hope? Or is it a mirage?

(Look at this random picture quote I found below)

Is love joy? Is it happiness?

Is love more pain? Does it hurt?

Is love hardship? Is it loyalty?

Is love a feeling? Is it a person?

Is love a thought? Is it living?

Is love a dream? Is it a moment?

OR does love embody them all, a little bit of each?

Tell me, what do you think?

One day an older woman advised and said: “Love doesn’t hurt you, a person that doesn’t know how to love does…”

That hit me. Hit me so hard because I had been hurt by love and I believe it resonates home with you as well.

Today, before I share the story with you, I want to introduce you to someone who loves you:

not a ruggamuffian or a sexy mama o

I’m talking about someone great who loves you, who knows how to love, and really wants to show you some good loving; the best loving possible actually.

I’m talking about love in action: that while we were yet sinners (liars, deceivers, homosexuals, pornographers, fornicators, betrayers), Jesus Christ died for us.

Love that is patient, endures and sacrifices – He died so we can have hope and eternal life.

Along with this, He gives us – yes, love gives – the added gift of the Helper (comforter, advocate, standby, etc) as we sojourn on earth in our mortal bodies.

Oh how refreshing it is to have this sweet Holy Spirit dwelling in you and with you.

I want you to know that there is no greater love than this:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life…” John 3:16

Wonnp3 wei and wop3 d3n?

God is saying… (see image below)

God o (the Great God, the greatest God), so loved (with the Greatest Love), the world (the greatest number of people you can love, including you),

That He gave (the Greatest gift), His only begotten Son (Jesus, who is the Greatest person ever), that whosoever (the greatest invitation); whosoever o, whosoever (not just virgins, nor some high class of humans, nor your Church squad)

That whosoever believes (the greatest simplicity), whosoever believes in Him, should not perish (the Greatest escape), but have everlasting life (the greatest destination). ~ John 3:16

As promised, I want to end with a story. (I hope you love stories).

Once upon a time, in a little peaceful town, the story is told of a wise old man who lived. This old man was very wise and every one used to talk about his great wisdom.

Young, old, rich and poor always spoke of his great wisdom: “Wooow, this man is very wise and knows the answer to everything.”

But there was a little boy who was irritated always hearing about the wise old man and all the praises he received. So he had a plan to go and test him.

He caught a labalaba (a butterfly), in his hands and said:

I will go to the old man with the labalaba hidden in my hands and ask him if the labalaba is dead or alive.

If he says its alive, I will squeeze my hand hard and kill it, and show it to him that he’s wrong. If he says it’s dead, then I’ll open my hands and let it fly away; proving to him he was wrong.”

So he went to the old man. “Old man, I have a labalaba in my clenched hands. Tell me, is it dead or alive?

The old man smiled and answered him.

Do you want to know what the old man said? Are you sure you want to know?

Okay, no problem, I’ll tell you.

The old man smiled and said: “Son, whether the labalaba is dead or alive, it depends on you.”

Dear friend, I share this story with you because to have this great love we spoke of earlier; which gives eternal life with God in heaven, depends on you.

Whether you spend eternity with God in heaven or with the devil in Hell, it depends on you!

You have the choice to make with the labalaba in your hands.

Will you choose to accept this love, or will you reject it? It depends on you dear one.

If you want to accept this love and be born again, or re-dedicate your life to God, you must ask Jesus to come into your heart and life. You have to pray a prayer like this and mean it from the bottom of your heart.

Please friend, please put any pride aside and let’s pray;

“Lord Jesus, I come to You as a sinner, lost and condemned to Hell. I repent of my sins and ask for your forgiveness. I believe with all my heart that You died on the cross and rose up again for my sins.

I open my heart to You and receive You as my Lord and personal Saviour. I receive this great love you have for me. Please take control of my life and make me what You want me to be. From today, I am Yours and You are mine. Thank You, Father for this wonderful gift of salvation. Amen.”

Congratulations!! You found love with your labalaba choice!
