Today I share my personal story back in Senior High School (SHS) that I found out was also in the Bible all along. So I wasn’t the first but I’m glad I had a different ending. I believe this will be a great blessing to you.
“I saw among the simple, I noticed among the young men, a youth who lacked judgment. He was going down the street near her corner, walking along in the direction of her house at twilight, as the day was fading, as the dark of night set in. Then out came a woman to meet him…” ~ Proverbs 7:7-10

One fateful day wise King Solomon looked out his window and saw a youth who lacked judgment. This was so because the guy was heading down a certain street called “her street/corner, near her house.”
Please take note: The pronoun her is not referring to the lady who came out in v10. If you read v10 well it says, “Then out came a woman to meet him…” Which woman? Just a certain woman. He didn’t say, ‘Then out SHE came to meet him’ or ‘out THE woman came to meet him…’ So the grammar experts can testify that he’s not talking about the same woman.

What am I driving at: The youth chose a certain path (“her street/corner”) and that path produced a certain lady to meet him (“out came a woman”).

In SHS I chose a certain path, a path of lust, porn, girls, you name it. As I travelled down that route (it started with porn), it produced some kind of people: guys who I could get porn videos from; ladies who were also consumed with lust…

…ladies with which we did lustful things with; certain events and programs that peaked my interests; school ‘fathers’ who would tell about their lustful escapades and teach, take you out and link you to some of such ladies; the kind of music I loved to listen to; the lustful thoughts, etc., and it was ‘exciting’.
The point is, I came into contact with these people and things because I was walking on a certain path that produced them along the way. (Mind you, I was a “Christian”, at a point a leader in SU…)

Now when I changed paths (gave my life to Jesus) and started heading on the path to God’s Kingdom, the path of righteousness, holiness, love for God, etc., it has also produced some people: ‘fathers’ who encourage me in the Lord, ladies who uphold purity and holiness, friends who love God and are serving Him wholeheartedly in their youth..,

…My interests in Godly gatherings and programs have peaked, my interest in songs and movies have all changed to Godly ones, I have peace and joy, I have faith and hope, I’m basking in grace.

Do you want to know the path you have chosen in life? Check the people that have been produced along the way. If you’re surrounded with worldly songs and lustful movies, porn addicts, people who don’t love God, liars/fraudulent people, drug dealers, smokers, drunkards, porn addicts, fornicators, etc. then I suggest you check the path you’re heading on.
It is most likely that the lady or gentleman (spouse) you’re likely to meet or the one who will come out to meet you will be among that group. Your future path will be determined by this group.

And I’ve noticed that this is same everywhere: e.g. if you walk down a ‘study’ path in school, you’ll soon meet people who love to study and will encourage you to study… if you walk down a party path, you’ll meet people who’ll help you party well, show you all the clubs and encourage you to party hard. It’s true, it applies all around.

What paths have you chosen? I have decided to follow Jesus’ path. I invite you to come along this path. God wants you, He loves you, He has been waiting for you. He calls you to come back home:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I invite you into my heart. I am a sinner and I’ve walked down the wrong paths of life. Today I make a change, I choose you. I believe you came to die for me to give me life and life abundantly. Thank you for the cross, thank you for saving me, thank you that I am changed and my life will never be the same. Amen.”

Congratulations! Heaven rejoices because of you 🤗. You’re really blessed. If you prayed this prayer for the first time or you re-dedicated your life to Christ, please leave a comment or contact us. We would like to share a gift with you and walk with you down this path.
