Today, we share with you a brief call to intercession and we ask that you take time to pray for others; especially for Ghana in these times (Pray for us as well).
Acts 21:32 says, “Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.” #Bible
Paul was being beaten by the Jews because of an accusing rumour; right there in the temple!! These Jews would have easily killed him. But when news reached the Commander of the Roman troops, he immediately took soldiers there and when the Jews saw them, they stopped beating Paul.

Now just imagine if the centurion and soldiers decided to go and eat before coming, or watch a movie before coming… Paul would have been killed very early in his ministry.
- Many times when news reaches us of those in trouble, there is no urgency in helping.
- There are times when the Holy Spirit impresses on our hearts to pray (eg. sometimes we just wake up in the middle of the night and it comes to our minds to pray).
- Yet we still find ways and means to continue in deep sleep. Mercy!
Other times we like to give excuses for why we can’t make time to pray on our own OR even join in prayer meetings, especially when all seems OKAY with us. Mercy!

- Imagine how many “Pauls” are being beaten to death…
- Imagine how many young Christians and pastors want to give up early in life and ministry…
- Imagine how many nations are being destroyed…
- Imagine how many other people are suffering and dying…
BECAUSE the “Soldiers” and “Centurions” of our time are busy: busy watching series, and movies, looking for pictures to post on their social media, promoting self-interest, sleeping, etc., because it is not directly affecting them.
May the Lord have mercy on you and me!!! I pray divine urgency will spur us into much-needed intercessory prayers. And by our effectual fervent prayer, may we save much.

- Please let’s pray for Ghana!
- Let’s pray for the peace of our nation; especially in this election season! (Psalm 122)
- Let’s pray against evil and corruption!
- Let’s pray against oppression and injustice (Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life ~ Prov 22:22).
- Let’s pray because it is God who can help us, and with Him all things are possible!

Because of the transgression of a land, many are its princes; But by a man of understanding and knowledge right will be prolonged. ~ Proverbs 28:2
"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-4
God bless you as you find time to pray and you share with others to do same also.
