- We’ve seen from scripture how God wants us to let go of our anxieties and trust in Him because He has a good place prepared for us.
- Over the next couple of days, we want to take a look at Jesus’ directions that led to this prepared place. Let’s dig in:
Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?”
And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him.~ Mark 14:12-13

#1. “Go into the city…”
Beloved, where you go in this life is vital in getting to your prepared place! Let the leading of the Holy Spirit determine where you go. The Bible says, “The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord…”
- Dear friend, I want to plead with you, delight to go to a good place where your life can be provoked to good works (Hebrews 10:24). Let the Lord order your steps.
- Psalm 1 shows us some ‘places’ to stay clear of: the counsel of the wicked, the way of sinners, and the seat of mockers.
- Why do we need to stay clear of such company or places? Because where you go determines where you’ll end up.
“He leads me in the path of righteousness… He makes me lie down in green pastures.” Once there’s a righteous path, believe this, there’s also a path of wickedness and darkness. Once there are green pastures, there are also dry and thirsty lands.

Yes, it appears that our posture as children of God is a key element to receiving God’s blessing. The Psalmist says that where we walk, sit or stand are all determinants in receiving God’s blessing.
- Each of us needs to position ourselves in such a way that God’s blessing can easily flow into our lives.
The Bible says “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God." ~ Psalm 92:13.
- Today, you can reposition yourself in such a way that you can tap into all that God has for you.
- You and I can be like trees planted by the riverside, so we will constantly receive nourishment from the river of the Spirit and whatever we do shall prosper in Jesus’ name!

Dear friend, it is not everywhere we go that we’ll thrive/flourish. It’s not every business, every relationship, every city or country that we’ll flourish in. Listen, it’s not every place we go to.
- In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus teaches us to pray, “Lead us not into…” He’s talking about places.
- It’s as if there are mines (explosives) planted at some places in this life, but I pray that God will deliver us from them all.
- (To be continued…) Heyy… you’re blessed and highly favored and dearly loved!
