“Follow Me!”

3 min read

Quite a popular phrase, this one. Especially on social media, Twitter, IG, etc. Oh and once you’re done do follow us yeah? Today, we discover this phrase to be the third direction to the prepared place Jesus gives.

Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” So he sent two of his disciples, telling them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. FOLLOW HIM.” ~ Mark 14:12c-13 #Bible

#3. “Follow him.” Today we hope to answer the question, who do you follow in life? Because when we go to different places, we meet different people. Now it is up to us to decide who we follow. Jesus said to Peter, “Follow me and I will make you…So the people you choose to follow, will mould you or make you into something good or bad, rich or poor, wise or foolish, etc.

Some of us have not been made into anything worthy because we’ve not followed anybody worthy.

I wish we could see your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, etc., and see the people you follow. Most of us are following some people with a lifestyle that doesn’t lead us closer to God. And some of you reading this have to drop some people. “Follow me,” was and is one of Jesus’ catch phrase. He wants you to follow Him. Be a follower of Jesus, let your focus be on Jesus. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…”

Hear me, He is the ONLY one who can say, “I am the resurrection and the life; I am the bread of life; I am the light of the world; I am the way, the truth and the life; I am the good Shepherd.”

Beloved, the Shepherd already knows where the grass is green for His sheep. Every good thing is ready and waiting for you, you just need to follow Him. Trust me on this, time will tell, your life will be glorious!

Today you want to pray, “Lord give me one pure and holy passion, to know and follow hard after you. Lead me Lord Jesus and I will follow. Amen.”

Stay blessed and share with friends and family.
