“Submit to God and be at peace with Him; in this way prosperity will come to you. Accept instruction from His mouth and lay up His words in your heart.“ #Bible ~ Job 22:21-22
Can I share with you a fact of life? Everyone surrenders to something; if not now, eventually; if not deliberate, unconsciously; but we all do. If not to God, you’ll surrender to your profession, the expectations of others, to money, to fear, or to your own pride, lusts and ego.
Dear one, we were designed to worship God – and when we fail to worship Him, we will create other things (idols) to give our lives to.

Now here’s the catch: We are free to choose what we surrender to, that bit is free. But we are not free from the consequences of that choice.
One man said, “If you don’t surrender to Christ, you surrender to chaos.” Beloved, surrendering is not the ‘best’ way to live; It is the only way to live. It is the most reasonable (sensible) way to serve God; a life of total surrender.

Even so, allow me to just mention a few blessings you gain when you live a life of total surrender(from today’s verse): You will be prosperous; you will have peace; you will have freedom; God will use you for His purpose; you will have victory and power; you’ll be fulfilled and you’ll gain eternal life.
There you have it! You won’t lose if you surrender to God, you will rather gain so much more.

Joshua surrendered to God before he received the heavenly strategy on how to bring down Jericho and its walls (Joshua 5:13-15; 6:1-5); and what a great feat that was.
How many want to see God’s hand in all aspects of our lives? Well, this is what God is calling us to, total surrender. Sometimes it takes years, but you will realize that the greatest hindrance to surrendering is not other people but ourselves, our ambitions, our desires and plans.

It’s time to let Jesus take the wheel. Nothing under His control will ever get out of control.
Let Jesus direct your life and watch how beautiful your life will be. God bless you.
Don’t keep this to yourself; Kindly share with friends and family.
