Who’s in?? It’s not too late to join

We’re moving in wisdom already and we encourage you to join in…. TAG YOUR FRIENDS!!
It’s 31 Days Of Wisdom; 1 Chapter a day for all of November, plus one in December.

Today we’re reading Proverbs 4😍; but here are some wisdom thoughts from yesterday’s reading of Proverbs 3:

N’kor shares:

I like the way the message Bible puts Proverbs 3:5-8

5 Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. 6 Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. 7 Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! 8 Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!

God is the father of all wisdom and we have to acknowledge Him in everything we do. Acknowledging Him means submitting to Him and trusting Him for where He is taking or leading us to.
Assuming to know it all can lead to destruction, we are limited in our own knowledge and wisdom as humans, but God’s wisdom is unlimited and we can only learn from the best.

There is little we can do with our own strength, but when we trust in Him with all our heart, the love we have for Him helps us stay on track and in doing that we tap into the wisdom to overcome every challenge in life! ~ Esther, KATH

I’m loving Proverbs 3. Very powerful

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. ~ Proverbs 3:7‭-‬8 NIV

This shows me that one of the blessings we enjoy from shunning evil is good health. Hence, we must know what is evil and good and practise the good ones and shun the evil.

This will save us a lot from paying medical bills, going for healing services, etc. Sin opens evil doorways and allows diseases to inflict us. The people of Egypt were plagued with boils; when Pharaoh remained adamant and did not want the people of Israel to leave Egypt (stubbornness). ~ Priscilla Afful, God’s love

**********

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. ~ Proverbs 3:9‭-‬10 NIV

How many of us wants our barns to be filled to overflowing and our vats to brim over with new wine? Barns and vats are simply storage for harvested grains and pressed wine respectively. What this means is that you will have more than you can store in your storage places; bank account, business, wherever you store the fruits of your labor. This is called abundance…woow.

But the use of the word “then” indicates that some condition must be fulfilled before the abundance comes: “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops…”
Honor is a subset of love; we honor people we love and we honor them to show them that we love them. There are many ways to honor people, one of them is with your money or substance.

Let’s be serious, you can’t make God rich with your money, no no no. You only have an opportunity to tap into an abundant blessing and position yourself for greater wealth for your own life. Keep this in your mind each time you’re giving to God and giving to support His work.

God bless you and let’s get to Proverbs 4 already!!
