Each day we wake up to new information and rumours circulating. What we fail to understand is that there is a point where knowledge becomes dangerous or poisonous to us. Beware of false knowledge.

Today I share with you a timely word from our archives which was originally shared by a great prophet of God, Prophet Kakra Baiden.
“But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” ~ Genesis 2:17

It’s not every fruit that is edible; some fruits look delicious but they are poisonous.
In the realm of the Spirit, knowledge is a tree that bears attractive fruits. Adam and Eve ate of the fruit because of this.
Q. When does knowledge become dangerous?
A. When it contradicts the Word.
Knowledge in computing, science, medicine, finance etc., is very good and has contributed greatly to human advancement.

God is not against knowledge because He gave us that capacity. That’s why Adam could name all the animals.
Adam’s knowledge became dangerous when he exalted it above the Word of God spoken to him.
For example: it sounds logical to have sex with someone you love and intend to marry because after all, it’s an expression of love. But you must remember logic can be poisonous; ultimate truth is God’s word.
“But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.” ~ Ephesians 5:3

Anytime something looks sensible and logical but contravenes the Word, remember that you are about to eat of the tree of knowledge and it is poisonous.
I pray for grace to keep you and strengthen you in these times. May the Lord reveal to you truths in His word! The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy one is understanding. Receive wisdom and understanding of the times and seasons we’re in. Above all, may the peace that passes all understanding keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Amen.
Stay blessed, leave a comment below, share with friends and family. We love you.
