Dear Christian, be normal

4 min read

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”
~ Revelation 3:15‭-‬16 NKJV

Real Christianity looks “radical” to lukewarm people. Meanwhile, it’s simply Christian living. ~ (anon on Twitter)

It’s quite unfortunate, yet totally up to you, if you don’t want to go all out for Jesus, but don’t throw your defensive opinions on others because they do.

Don’t say they’re too spiritual, they’re not; that is normalcy. We are very normal Christians.

Do you want to know too spiritual?

Okay, look at the lives of Benny Hinn, Idahosa, Kathryn Kuhlman, ArchBish Duncan-Williams, Aps. Selman, etc.

If there’s even a thing as too spiritual, they would be it.

Rather, we should admit to ourselves and to God that we are lukewarm and becoming worldly.

We can’t see anything about Christ when we see you or your profile.

We can see the worldly songs, the funny memes, your business; and you’re a real G, but Christ?

We can’t see Him or we have to scroll down and down to get some hint that there’s some Christ in you. That, my friend, is the abnormal…

Remember, what God asks of you is to be a light to the world: that is the ‘normal’ Christian (a person that shines of God; a person excited to shamelessly let the world know about the Jesus who saved them).

Not a ‘normal person or human being’ o, I’m talking about a normal salt and light of the world.

Don’t be among the people who want to have one foot in God and the other in the world, making it difficult for them to delve deeper in God. It doesn’t work like that with God.

And if you don’t know Jesus and you’re not born-again, sorry this wasn’t for you… but it’s a great opportunity to give your life to Christ.

Jesus came down on earth to die and save you from death and give you eternal life. This is the greatest love you can ever receive. Pray with me:

“Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross to set me free from sin and death and give me eternal life. I believe in you and I accept you into my life as my Lord and saviour. Let me be a salt and a light for your glory, let your light and love shine in and all around me. Write my name (insert name) in the book of life. Amen!”

  1. Bless you for the reminder, at times we seek to gain favour in the eyes of men and for that reason we act as such, betraying our identity as Christians😔. May God have mercy on us.🙏🏾
