“Many a man claim to have unfailing love but a faithful man who can find?” ~ Proverbs 20:6.
We live in a world that seems to thrive on lies. Deception is the order of the day. One of the clearest end-time warnings that Jesus gave to the world was about deception: “Watch out that no one deceives you“ (Matthew 24:4).
There seems to be a big disparity between what people say in general and what they do in particular. The truth is that faithful men are rare in our time. We might as well put out a wanted poster for them. Mercy!

Let’s be honest, we are all praying for faithful people. At the very least, we are all praying to have faithful spouses (at least I know I am).
Hardly do we hear such beautiful words as that spoken by Joseph in Potiphar’s house: “my master does not concern himself about anything in this house, everything he owns he has entrusted into my care.“ (Read Gen 39:8).
- Dear friend, can you be trusted?? With money, a job or any other responsibility for that matter?
- The Bible says, “It is required of stewards to prove themselves faithful.”
- Indeed, faithfulness is a great requirement for life; whether in relationships, ministry or in business/work.

- The good news is that faithfulness is a fruit of the Spirit.
- “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law” ~ Galatians 5:22-23.
- The more we yield our members to the Holy Spirit, the more faithful we become.

Our prayer for today is that you and I will grow to become people of integrity. Our words will match with our actions. Such that when the Lord appears, we will be greeted with these powerful words:
“Well done good and faithful servant, you have been faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things. Come into your Father’s happiness!” ~ Matthew 25:23.
