“Hi there😊, What’s Your Name?”

5 min read

I am quite sure you’ve had to answer this greeting more than five (5) 🖐 times in your life; and you’ve personally used it more than 🖐 times too.

Truth be told, it feels special when someone you admire, say a crush, or a really lovely person asks for your name. Some people totally melt at this point and can be caught blushing hard (Yeah, it happens to us all😅)

In any case, I am asking you today: “Hi there 😊, What’s Your Name?” (Leave your response in the comment/reply box below)

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him and given Him a NAME which is above every name:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ~

Philippians 2:9-11

Your name gives you identity. Names are probably the most important aspects of humans; it distinguishes you from others. This is why it is one of the first lessons children are taught.

Your name gives insight on your life path, it defines your purpose in life.

Jesus’ name signified His purpose here on earth.

Tsale (friend, Charle), names are very powerful o. Don’t allow anyone to call you any name at all, it can ruin your destiny.

“A good name is better than many riches (Proverbs 22:1).”

Today’s scripture shows us that the greatest reward God the Father gave to His Son, is a NAME that is higher than every other name: JESUS!

That suggests that names give superiority.

All through the Bible God changed people’s names and their identities, and I pray He does same for you.

Jesus met a demon-possessed man in Mark 5:9 and asks, “What is your name?”

The man says, “My name is Legion, for we are many.”

A legion is the greatest unit in an army; about 3000-6000 soldiers and if a person can carry that many demons, on the flip side, you can carry many blessings and graces.

Receive multiples of grace today in Jesus’ name! Receive a legion of blessings and goodness all over you.

A mother gave her daughter her own last name, because she and the girl’s father, Mr So-so-and-so had separated, and she didn’t want him to ever know his daughter.

But one day the girl found out, and demanded to know her father. She wanted her father to walk her down the aisle for her wedding.

To find him, she had to change her surname and go round asking, “Do you know Mr. So-so-and-so? Where is he now?” It took a while, but she eventually found him. After a couple of years, he walked her down the aisle in grand style.

Why do I share this with you?

You see your name, usually also determines who walks down the aisle with you.

Do you bear God’s name and identity? Do you have Him to walk you down life’s aisle?

I ask again dear one, what’s your name?

Stay blessed!
